We Buy — Gold & Bullion
Sell gold bullion, coins, scrap and jewellery in Dubai at transparent, assay-based rates tied to the London fix. Weighed and tested in front of you. Same-day settlement in AED or USD.
Gold is the most transparent asset you can sell and the one most often sold badly. The metal has a published global price; the only true variables are weight, purity and the buyer’s margin. Where a seller is underpaid, one of those three was obscured.
Ours are not. Your gold is weighed on a calibrated scale you can read, tested by XRF in front of you, and the deduction is stated as a percentage before you decide — never after.

Key facts
Specifically
If your piece is not listed here, it does not mean we are not interested — it means it is unusual enough to warrant a conversation.
Bars from 1g to 1kg and above, from recognised refiners — PAMP, Valcambi, Emirates Gold, Metalor, Argor-Heraeus, Perth Mint. LBMA good-delivery bars settled at the tightest spreads we offer.
Krugerrand, Britannia, Maple Leaf, Eagle, Sovereign, Napoleon and Ducat. Numismatic coins are assessed for collector premium above metal content, never simply melted.
9k, 14k, 18k, 21k, 22k and 24k, hallmarked or not. Broken chains, single earrings and damaged pieces are all perfectly saleable — condition is irrelevant to metal value.
Cartier, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany, Chopard, Pomellato and Marina B. Priced as jewellery first, metal second — the difference is usually substantial.
Crowns, bridges, bench sweeps and plated contacts. Assayed on the recovered fine-gold content rather than gross weight.
950 platinum, palladium and sterling silver in bar, coin, jewellery and flatware form, priced against their own live benchmarks.
What moves the price
We show our working on every offer. These are the factors we weigh, in roughly the order they matter — so you can see where the money is before you hear the figure.
Everything begins with grams of pure gold: gross weight multiplied by fineness. An 18k piece is 75.0% gold, 21k is 87.5%, 22k is 91.6%.
The London bullion price moves continuously. We quote against the rate at the moment of the transaction and show you the source.
The deduction between spot and what a buyer pays. Ours is stated up front and narrows materially on higher volumes and on investment-grade bullion.
Sealed, assay-carded bars from LBMA-accredited refiners require no verification and therefore attract the tightest spread. Loose scrap carries a wider one.
Rare dates, mint errors and graded coins can be worth multiples of their metal content. We check before, never after.
Signed jewellery in wearable condition is valued on the secondary market for that maker, which is very often two to four times melt.
Questions
Take the live gold spot price, multiply by the fineness of your item — 0.750 for 18k, 0.875 for 21k, 0.916 for 22k — multiply by the weight in grams, then subtract the buyer’s margin. That margin is the only thing that varies between buyers, and it is where sellers lose money. We state ours before testing begins, and it is tightest on investment bullion and largest on heavily mixed scrap. For a sealed bar from a recognised refiner, expect to receive very close to spot.
If the piece is unsigned, worn, or a broken chain, melt value is the honest answer and usually the better one. If it carries a recognised maker’s mark and is in wearable condition, it is almost always worth more intact — a Cartier Love bracelet, for instance, typically resells at a multiple of its gold content. We assess both routes for every item and recommend the one that pays you more, even when that is the transaction with the smaller margin for us.
Yes. Hallmarks are convenient but not necessary. XRF spectrometry reads the actual alloy composition non-destructively in seconds, which is more reliable than a stamp in any case — unmarked gold is common in older Middle Eastern and South Asian jewellery, and stamps are occasionally wrong or fraudulent.
Generally yes, for structural reasons rather than marketing ones. The UAE has no personal income tax, gold investment products are VAT-exempt, and Dubai’s position as a physical trading hub means spreads between buying and selling are narrower than in most markets. That benefits sellers as well as buyers. It does not, however, protect you from a wide margin quoted by an individual dealer — the market being competitive is no substitute for asking what the deduction is.
